After learning to move, the cloak passed through the jungle, and the first place it encountered was a quiet tavern.
The pub owner is a bear. He had one injured ear and the other ear was shaped like a fish gill. His eyes were pale green.
“Is this your past?" The bear looked at a picture on the wall. Jungle, rain, mud puddle.
“Only part of it.” The cloak had learned to speak. “A friend painted it for me.”
The bear spread out its paws and showed the cloak a few sparkling flat objects: “It looks like your eyes, greenish-green. We call it money. Green, also called green coins.”

“… you don’t have to repeat what I said.”
“Alright.”
The doorbell rang. A kitten came in with three knives hanging from her waist.
“Long time no see, Fireclaw .” said the bear.
“Just call me Cat. I don’t like the name Fireclaw.” The kitten jumped onto the high chair, “I still have to call you a fish?”
“That’s the way to call it now.” The bear - Earfish - poured her a glass of wine.
Cat glanced at the cloak: “New friend? What’s your name?”

“? What’s wrong with this guy?”
“It only repeats the last word of a sentence." The earfish said, “It’s still a blank piece of paper.”
“White paper?” Ah Cat squinted. “I’ve lived for 80 years. I’ve never seen anything like this.”
She let out a low roar. The voice came out of such a small body, but it was as low as if the entire tavern was resonating. The body of the cloak trembled.
“Control your abilities, Fireclaw.”
“Hmm.” Cat put down the glass. “That’s simple. Just let it * move * and you’ll know.”
She pulled a silver knife from her waist and stabbed it into the tavern floor.
The cloak widened its eyes.
The knife did not move.
But the cloak felt like it was moving.

Several elements burn green: copper is blue-green, boron bright green, and barium yellow-green (see Supreme Copper character card).
Flame color comes from the spectrum; the shape of sound comes from the spectrogram. Both are frequencies, both are waves. Cloak learned to hear two thousand sounds in the jungle, and learned to “see” them.
Fireclaw’s second form is called “Canaan.” The low growl that made the whole tavern resonate is her ability: sound waves.
